The problem with the pride community (and with non binary ppl) is that you can not discuss about anything with them. They have decided beforehands that everyone is interested about them and hate them. They also need constant attention/validation for their personality and get angry if they don't get it. They demand it from the society as well. I have been in a party where a non binary person stopped the general discussion and literally demanded that we can not address several topics cause they were sensitive for him/her. Yeah, i left the party pretty soon cause the atmosphere went to s*it.

The shame is even more powerful when you're a minor. I'm about to turn 18 and coming of age has been instrumental to me now going full on with combatting my addiction but it never should have been that way. I needed to be able to talk about this with people, I needed to even feel okay talking to my Mom or Dad about first seeing porn when I was 9 or 10. But when you make it completely private (and being underage actually ends up ENCOURAGING you to keep EVERYTHING about your sexuality private), you can make yourself feel in control of your addiction when it's in control of you. It's only now that I know my sexuality will never truly be a private matter as an adult, that the cultural perception will flip on me in a few weeks, that those walls are beginning to break little by little.
